things happen for a reason

presenting to u the proudest moment of my life.......inter-hall darts champions! hehs okie, not sure if it's the proudest, but definetely more of the more memorable ones. :) it was my first time playing it in a competition. was so nervous k! yikes at first my darts were like trembling. heh but with the mental visualisation of winning, checking-in and out (for those who dunnoe, it means hitting the outer border first), it really helped to calm me down. heh i termed it "self-pyscho" hahas. which is what i do before every exam i take anyway. and i won 5 rounds out of the total 8 rounds i played! are u proud for me? :) but sth i felt really lousy about was that i din win the round i played in the finals. hence the result was 4-1. though we won, i can't help but feel disappointed with myself. it's like as if i din contribute to the medal - though i noe it's really stupid to feel this way. yahs. but still we WON! hees.

it feels really cool to be in a competition and winning it. i've taken part in hockey, boggle and floorball. but it's different i guess. because we din really like train like mad for it. it feels good to have trained really hard for it and succeeding. the sweet taste of victory! all the trainings and darts camp really paid off! and this would be my first and last gold medal in ntu! :)

after the competition, we went for a really late dinner at jp's fish&co. ohyup did i mention that we were the champions last year? heh so that makes us the defending champions this year! they went to the same place to celebrate last year too. so we've decided to make it a tradition of going there. hahas. thanks to mingsong and terence for the treat!

i'll always remember the darting days :)
