It's the new year!!
heh it's chu yi and i'm waiting for my relatives to come over.. getting a little bored actually. heehee. just watched just like heaven with my sis. it was quite nice as expected. haha. the plot's a little cliche but it's always nice to watch happy love stories :)
okie an update about my week! went to watch memoirs of the geisha (finally!) with ting, qian and shi. it was everything that i imagined it to be when i was reading the novel. think the small girl who acted chiyo was so pretty! heh zhang ziyi's really pretty too! soooooo sweet. but i din think michelle acted all that well. doesnt really suit the role of the great mameha. but it was really a mad rush that day! went for driving, was nearly late for the movie and rushed off to proj there after. yikes. poor planning. well but not that i could do anything about it.
as for shopping, i've finally gotten all my new year stuffs! and KACHING! everything costs about 250bucks in total. gee i pity my wallet. hehs i promise i wun shop so much after new year! hee but i love everthing i bought! pictures next time! finaly gotten my heels on fri while shopping with cindy. from tangs! at least the heels they sell are actually comfortable. saw this really pretty pair of red heels! but there's just no occasion for me to wear it now and i certainly have nothing to match. oh well. when i go out to work! heehee. watching in her shoes have made me more determined to start a shoe collection of my own! heehee.
yesh and after shopping with cindy on fri, she doesnt want to shop with me anymore!! haha she spent too much that day. peiwen says i'm a "sun you"!! but i'm really not!! *hees* ohyup btw we saw this really pretty pair of birks tt day! here's a pic of it.
love the pretty blue shiny "buckle" on it!! but no more birks for me! i'm gg to work soon! :(
but on a more serious note, i've been thinking alot about things these days. about why does everyone conform to the norm? why is it that girls have to marry into the guy's family? it's no wonder why in the olden days, people actually prefers having guys to girls. for those families with only daughters, would there be no one to have reunion dinner with them after their daughters are married. makes no sense whatsoever. do we have to stay with our husband's family after we marry? what about my parents? it's like so duhry.
