hmm.. valentines this year wasnt really great. spent loads of time waiting waiting and waiting. but above all, was really touched that dearie spent so much time recee-ing and planning for the nite, despite being busy with lovebites and all. though things din work out as planned out, i still really appreciate it although i seemed really upset that nite. yahs. people say that valentines is being over-commercialised and so. hmms well, i guess to me, valentines is just like another special occasion to look fwd to. like birthdays, anniversaries. where ppl couples/friends exchange sweet gifts and just spend some quality time tog. but this does not mean we cant do it any other day. yahs some ppl have totally missed this point. by celebrating vday totally does not mean that we dun express our love for each other on any other day. that's like so duhry. oh well. and i dun see the need to spent extravagently on a valentines set meal (which seems mass-produced since every other table has to order either this or that). which is also why i insisted that we go to a place which has normal ala-carte food. yups. we went to pastafresca at eastcoast. was really unique that the tables and all were actually on the beach! suaku me. haha. yups. but we waited really long for the food, but we end up paying a cheaper bill! lols. i tried the steak with mushroom cream sauce! haha dun ask me why. as much as i hate mushrooms, i just NEED to eat my steak with mushroom sauce. hee. yups i always have carbonara there but since it's vday, just for a change! :)

but i was really upset that i couldnt finish the preciousmoments cross stitch in time for vday! sighs... i tried really hard! ryan gave me this cheque which says "one million hugs and kisses" hehs so sweet right! haha the guys in my hall were like "wahlau... good one ar! foc!" haha while the girls went "so sweeeeeet!" hahas. so funny.

anyways we had our post-vday celebration today! hahas. to make up for the unhappy vday. okie it din really look very unhappy from the photos and all. well anyway had fun spending some time in town with dearie! it's been a long time! like a month! we had dinner at marche (the food's normal but i really love their sauces!) and later fondue at coffee club. but i din buy anything :( more shopping to be done in the one week break! well, and catching up on my studies of course. i'm totally lagging! at this rate, 2nd upper would be a dream waiting to NOT happen.
