Food reviews!

After the traumatic experience at the clinic and TTSH yesterday, it's time for some food reviews!! Please do not continue reading if you're on a diet!! Heh first up:

Aloy's super belated birthday celebration @ Pizza Walker

The pizzas look pretty right?? But unfortunately it doesn't taste half as good. Yikes. And even the highly recommended Capricciosa (the last pic in the collage) was disgusting (to me!!) Haha everyone who liked mushrooms said it was the best out of the 3 lah. It had this egg yolk thingy in the middle, which was pretty unique (though i din taste it). Every slice was like filled totally with shitake mushrooms, much to my disgust. Haha. The other pizza with the leaves on top tasted really like very expensive cheese prata. I rather go eat Thomson's anytime! Haha. And the waiting time for the pizzas were like extremely long. Hmm did it take an hour? Maybe so. Was so hungry can. Was still super hungry when i got home hours later. So conclusion is, please go eat somewhere else if u're at wisma. And apparently, fusion food is not really for me!

Zhen Shan Mei Laksa @ Alexandra Village

Heh went to find dearie near his workplace this week. Tried the laksa that was highly recommended by Cindy! Check out the long long long queue.

The serving wasnt alot, but enough for me! Haha since I had a craving for ikea's hotdogs. Hiakhiaks. The laksa was yummy! Spicy enough. But I thought it had a little too much coconut milk. Hmms. But still, as compared to all the sucky food I've been trying lately, this totally tops my yummy listing. Hiaks. Can try this if you're sick of eating ikea's food when you're in queensway!

Popeyes @ Changi Airport Terminal 1

Heh doesn't look very good?? The chicken wasn't very fantastic lah, but it doesn't have the sickening flour taste that KFC has. Hmm if u noe what i mean. But I love the mashed potato!! Tasted veryvery different. Yummy! Dun realy know how to describe the flavour. But the sauce was very thick, and there was a lot of other tiny bits of dunnoe wad in it. Haha. I like! The biscuit thingy was very unique as well. At first I though it was bread or sth.

Hongkong Street @ Queensway

Heh another eatery at Queensway! It's this hawker centre opp Alexandra Hospital, beside the AIA building.

Fried Horfun with Sliced Fish!! Heh the horfun is like well covered by all the beansprouts! But they all tasted really good tog. YUMS! Saw a lot of ppl eating the fish beehoon soup. So tempted to try the next time i go there! Hees.

Pork Ribs! Heh the standard zicha dish that I always have to order. One of the nicest that I've tried so far!! DOUBLE YUMS.

Ocean Curry Fish @ Toa Payoh Lorong 8

Heh this is the standard meal that my family has when we have no idea what to have for dinner!! There's always like a very long queue if you go around 7. So go before that! I love all the dishes! Heehee. Especially the otak, curry fish and the chicken wings - which is like always freshly fried!

Kk tts all for now. No mood to write anymore le. Continue again soon! Now I'm like totally craving for spicy ramen :( My conclusion is that Jap traditional ramen is not good in Singapore. I wanna go back to the ramen museum in tokyo again!! :( So i shall stick to the Beppu's spicy ramen. Hahaha. On a totally irrelevant note, I've finally ironed and framed the cross stitch that I made for Ryan!! Haha 4mths le. Oops.

Passing thought: It's a wonder how a sweet gesture can dispel all negativities.
