SG not a food paradise?

Just read ST's article on the above topic. Gawd do i disagree!! Though I have to admit they made a valid point that the standard is deteriotating cos of emerging food courts and all. Food in food courts are really quite CMI. But still! They seriously cannot expect every single hawker stall to taste damn good lah.

In the report, someone even compared the overall standard of sg food to an ordinary stall in Penang serving good kway teow or sth like tt. Note the singular term. They're comparing just to one stall over there. Faints. Perhaps they should also compare the cleanliness and hygiene level as well?? And comparing to Japan, whereby stalls boil hours and hours of soup to make ramen, doesnt make much sense when the prices of the meals vary by such a great margin. There's no appropriate basis to make any sort of comparison lahs. Dunnoe what's their problem. Bleahs. Hmm and their stats of 7 out of 10 stalls serving sub-standard food is abit kua zhang. A fren told me that they're just probably eating at the wrong places. Wahhaa.
