Hard Rock Cafe

Suaku me finally had a meal at HRC. Haha. And the food was greeeeaaaat!! Check out their menu here! Anyway, the 4 of us shared 2 mains and 1 starter. Seems very little? But the portions were bigger than usual I guess. Not as humongous as what I thought though. We ordered a Jumbo Combo , which had most of the other starters on the menu in it. Yums!! Love the potato skins!! We also had the Honey Bourbon Pork Chop. Havent eatern porkchops this honeyed. Heh but my favourite has got to be the New York Strip Steak!! After Asiaone's recommendation, how can I not order it right? Juicy, tender and nicely medium done. *drools* Think that the butter on top of it blended quite well with the overall taste. Later at drinks at cq, I finally tried sexonthebeach! Yums. I love sweet alcoholic drinks! Hee, thanks for the treat guys! And for the wisma voucher which I have yet to use. :)

22nd Birthday!

Heh after work, dearie brought me to this newly opened Italian restaurant Il Lido on Sentosa! Hee was so stunned that we were going there! The place had a pretty view of the sunset and it was actually in the Sentosa Golf Club. The service was also quite good - they had like super many waiters waiting to serve your every need. And surprisingly, the place was like fully packed though it was a weekday night and on Sentosa. Hmm but the food was average only I guess, but really quite pricey. 109 bucks for 3 dishes. After dinner, we spent some time at the same beach where it all begun. Had fun walking in the water, dancing to the music in the dark etc. We actually heard foc cheers on the beach too! Lols so funny. Hee had so much fun tt day. Love my dearie! :)

Met up with grace, pw and co for lunch on sat too! It's like very dumb cos it was supposed to be a surprise or sth for me on tues. Haha but nvm, I shall not reveal the spoiler. Hehees. We had lunch at New York, New York. This new place at Citylink. I love the booth seats! And the food's quite good! Very cafe cartel kinda style but their pasta's definetely better. Kind of like my spicy meatball spaghetti. Aloy's carbonara is so much better than cartel's too! (Cartels one is really machiam hokkien mee) But something very dumb happened lah. We wanted to order the really sinful fried mars bars. BUT we were told that ALL the desserts were unavailable tt day. We were like huH!?!? On a saturday?! And the place's new lehs. The person replied tt it's because the dessert chef wasnt around. Really super gao xiao. But their desserts menu looked really appealing lehs. Must try someday!

We had no choice but to go TCC to try their desserts. Well since they had a 1-1 offer for members. They have removed their horrible tofu cheesecake and replaced some rather interesting ones. Their desserts looked and sounded really pretty.........

......but.......they tasted so-so lo. The serving was pathetic, and the chocolate wasnt satisfying. They din allow us to take pictures of their dessert either! But we sneaked a few. Haha. It's not like we're gonna copy their design or wad ma. I shall stick to their tiramisu from now on.

Okie, I'm looking forward to my next bday treat from kuma and co this week! Super belated. Hee thanks to all those who remembered my birthday. Really appreciate it :)
